General Art Classes Include:
Fine Art
With guidance from the instructor, students can select the subject and medium of their choice for each of their projects. We teach a variety of fine art styles - from Photo Realism to Impressionism and subject matter, such as portraiture, landscape, figures, wildlife, still life, superheros, and cartoon characters to name a few. Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pen & ink, animation cels, scratchboard, colored pencils, and opaque inks are the more popular mediums we teach. High school students create art work for their college entrance portfolios.

Graphic Design and Computer Art
Graphic design and computer art are part of our general art classes. Students can work on projects, such as logo design, advertisements, illustration, CD covers, posters, book covers and packaging. Students will be taught how to create fine art, illustrations, cartoons and superheros using the most amazing computer software. Students' computer projects are printed with our photo quality, full color printer. These beautiful prints make an impressive addition to the college entrance portfolio.

Clay Sculpture
Clay sculpture is part of our general art classes. Students are instructed in the basic techniques of making clay sculpture both in the round and in relief. They learn how to work with clay tools and their hands to create their projects.


Computer Graphics Classes
Computer graphics classes are for individuals interested in learning the latest tools and techniques for creating business graphics on the computer. It is the ideal course for students thinking of pursuing a career in graphic design, advertising, marketing or publishing.Our instructors are professional computer graphic designers who understand the needs and concerns of individuals who must learn computer skills to increase their job performance. We have both integrated and specific software courses.

Fashion Design Classes
Fashion design classes teach students how to illustrate the fashion figure, including body proportions, hands, feet, faces, and hair. Our instructors show students how to achieve a fabric look in various mediums, and guide them in creating their own fashion collection. Sewing basics and clothing construction utilizing both hand and machine applications are taught.

Adult Fine Art Classes
In adult art classes, students are taught on an individual basis. Students can study the subjects of their choice in mediums, such as watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels, clay, pencil drawing and pen & ink. They can select a different medium for each project and work at their own pace and level. You can enroll at any time.
